Principal
Ms. Duenas is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where she focuses on U.S. real estate debt. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Ms. Duenas was a Vice President at Mesa West Capital in Los Angeles, where she focused on West Coast originations. Previously, Ms. Duenas was a Vice President at City National Bank, where she focused on loan originations and asset management for regional clients. She also serves as the President for the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group, is co-chair of the membership committee for CREFC's Women's Network and is a Board Member of AACRE (Accelerating Access to Commercial Real Estate). Ms. Duenas holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego in Finance and Business Administration, and an M.B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Management in Real Estate Finance. Ms. Duenas is an active member of CRE Finance Council (CREFC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
