Managing Director
Mr. Mullen is a Managing Director in the Ares Investor Relations Group, where he focuses on private equity secondaries product management and investor relations. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Managing Director in the Landmark Partners Investor Relations and Business Development Group, where he focused on business development, marketing and investor relations. Previously, Mr. Mullen was Head of Institutional Business at Morgan Stanley's private equity, real estate and hedge fund unit, Alternative Investment Partners (AIP), where he directed business development, distribution, consultant relations, marketing and product management functions of AIP. In addition, he was Head of U.S. Institutional Business and a member of the Executive Committee and Management Board of Allianz Global Investors. Mr. Mullen holds a B.S. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in Economics and an M.B.A., with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors, from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is a CFA® charterholder.
