Principal
Mr. Wicks is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. industrial real estate equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Wicks was a Vice President of Acquisitions for Black Creek Group's West Coast Team, where he was responsible for sourcing new industrial deals and helping to grow the west coast industrial portfolio. Previously, he was a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, a global commercial real estate services company, where he was responsible for overseeing ground up development and tenant improvement projects on behalf of commercial/office, industrial and public companies. Mr. Wicks holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles.
