Jorg Sallaerts

Mr. Sallaerts is a Vice President in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Mr. Sallaerts was an Associate on the Leveraged Finance Team at ING, where he focused on the origination and structuring of transactions in the Benelux region. Previously, Mr. Sallaerts worked for ING's Oil and Gas Team, where he focused on private equity-backed transactions in the energy sector. In addition, Mr. Sallaerts was a Strategy Consultant at ING, where he focused on creating and implementing value accretive projects in ING's 13 retail countries. Mr. Sallaerts holds an M.Sc. from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Financial Management.
