Mark Liimatta

Mr. Liimatta is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S real estate debt asset management. Prior to joining Ares in 2016, Mr. Liimatta was an Investment Manager at Heller Financial Inc., where he focused on managing real estate loans including mezzanine, senior, and construction loans. Previously, Mr. Liimatta was a Real Estate Analyst at Balcor (which has since become part of American Express). Mr. Liimatta holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan in Economics.
