Managing Director
Mr. Kruel is a Managing Director in the Ares Secondaries Group, where he focuses on real estate secondaries. Additionally, Mr. Kruel serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Director in the Landmark Partners Real Estate Group, where he focused on underwriting real estate investments. Previously, Mr. Kruel was an Assistant Vice President at AEW Capital Management L.P., where he focused on asset management and financial analysis. In addition, he was a Project Manager at Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, where he focused on managing infrastructure projects at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Mr. Kruel holds a B.S. from Washington University in Civil Engineering, an MCRP from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Yale University.
