Sebastian Herrera

Mr. Herrera is a Vice President in the Ares Private Equity Group, where he focuses on special opportunities investing. Additionally, Mr. Herrera serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Herrera was an Analyst in the Structured Credit Group at BlackRock, where he focused on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) tranche investing. Mr. Herrera holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College in Economics and Classical Languages.
